Ignis and Spectrum is an ongoing autobiographical tale of how two strangers (Cyril and M.Z. – that’s us) met and what followed. The story began with M.Z. doing the art, but after the first year, she handed the art duties to Cyril. After a short stint in mostly-prose form, the story returned to its original comics format.
You can read from the beginning, familiarize yourself with some of the story’s cast members, or whatever suits your fancy, really.

I was going to post a long-winded and generally uninteresting news update about how I am planning to return to updating mostly with comics from now on here on this site. But… That would be stupid and I don’t want to waste your time.
I think, instead, I will just direct you to an artist’s website and hope that you enjoy his works. They are done on post-it notes (the longer rectangular ones, I suppose…) and they are all awesome.

Enjoy.
This news post will be obsolete in a couple days, I assume, but whatever. I should probably write something here, anyway. Thing is…
I’m not home. I haven’t been for a couple days. Luckily, I can still access my image files while away and work on them if I ever need to (which I’ve needed to these past couple days). In working on them on this other computer, I’ve come across no problems. That is… until I exported the final image files. They look a little choppy to me here. I could just be paranoid, for I have no other computer to confirm or deny these perceived image quality issues. But… When I get home, I will try and replace this week’s update’s images with better looking ones.
Unless I’m just seeing things, of course. In that case, uh… Ignore this inane rambling and have a good week, folks.
EDIT – Made it home and checked into the issue. See if you can see what I was so worried about in this comparison. Looks like I’m not (entirely) crazy. Just nit-picky about image quality, I guess. I did nothing different except save it on my own computer. Maybe next time I’m away for a few days, I’ll get my act together before I leave. Maybe.
Airplanes make me nervous. Lots of things make me nervous, really, but airplanes are fairly high on the list. A short flight beats a long drive, though. It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly a year since I’ve seen M.Z. It’s great to finally get back with her in person. I look forward to a week of video games, art projects, and generally sweating my ass off (not that I have one to begin with).
This week’s story update is up. It’s pretty short, so that’s the reason for the bonus comic above. Next week’s will be up whenever I get home (I have a late flight). So… see you then. Have a good week, folks.
